History
November 26 1939 – March 2 2019
In 1966, Dkfm. Erhard Bollenberger founded a single-person business. In collaboration with his life and business partner Margit Bollenberger the business evolved into today’s AREA Bollenberger group, one of the largest consulting companies in Austria.
In 2020, a strong partnership was formed with AREA Treuhand GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungs- und Steuerberatungsgesellschaft, now AREA Bollenberger GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfung und Steuerberatung, to efficiently and powerfully advance growth in the digital world.
In October 2021 Beate Prigl’s team joined us on this journey, strengthening our Vienna branch.
In 2021, “B&B”’s life’s work “Bollenberger & Bollenberger” was proudly handed over to the partners Ursula Kilzer, Gerald Haubeneder, Martin Riegler, Martin Schereda and Patrick Volkert. In the summer of 2022, Martin Bonner joined us and expanded our range of services with his special know-how of transfer pricing. On January 1st, 2023, the Steinberger firm in Leonding (Upper Austria) was handed over to us and has since been managed by our partner Anton Grall. Dr. Harald Glocknitzer and his team have been supporting us at our Vienna location since January 1st, 2024.
